They hit her with a, you canβt play no more at all including future games because you refused to step out.
Things like that actually happen though especially in soccer/football
Indeed, it's quite common actually.
Hiyori's trying to be like MJ & Zeke (re injury).
I wonder how soon their next performance is.
Reminds me of the movie 'Karate kid', Jackie Chan & Jaden smith (Will smith's son)
Ah yes a pretty good movie it is
Final point was tense
They didn't even get to use their secret technique... the fade away dunk shot.
Okay okay I see you Saki scoring most of the 3 pointers, you go girl!
Hope hiyori didn't ruin her career with her bone fracture
damn not even the battle to the death of shonen anime can beat hiyorin performance lol btw nono is fuckin happy again π
Good job portraying a tense game where they manage to disrupt each others shots slightly.
But for the love of god, if one of her feet hurts, stop making scenes where she puts her entire weight on her bad foot. Every person will reflexively stop putting unecessary strain on their bad leg and use their other leg to support most of the weight.
dominant leg probably. Unless they are ambidextrous people cant just switch to the other leg or arm and play like normal, in that case it is better to just take the pain. You ever try writing with your nondominant hand its like that. I say dominant leg but irl theres no such thing, but if you kick a ball normally with your left leg your brain will be trained in a specific pattern so that when you kick with your right leg it feels off.
I'm going to have to say no to that, MeguminExplosion. I've been in her exact situation as a basketball player myself. We're not using our legs to make accurate shots like in soccer. If it was her arm, then sure, since most basketball players will have a dominant shooting hand. A dominant leg, not exactly. Though you are right that it will feel off depending on your placement on the playing field, but the feeling is not 'off' enough to keep straining your injured leg over it. After all, making a lay-up on the left side means you will naturally propell your jump with your left leg, while doing a rightside lay-up your right will be the natural propeller. If you go through the middle, you can propell yourself with either.
So depending on where you're positioned on the field or how the ball is coming towards you, you will decide which leg feels the most natural to use. So, in the game of basketball, you get used to using both. Naturally, if one gets injured, it will not be too difficult to rely on your uninjured leg. If your right leg is injured, creating actions on the right side with your left leg will feel off, but the left & middle are still perfectly fine options. But when it comes to defensive actions like stealing the ball or jumping up to intercept, the change between which leg you use is negligeble. Yes, there will be a minor difference in performance when you prefer kicking off a jump with one leg over the other, but it won't feel awkward to use the other leg or be nearly as drastic as having to shoot shots with your nondominant arm.
Phew, what a game! For a moment there I was worried RISE might lose or they might go into sudden death. Especially with Hiyori suffering a fractured foot.
Well, technically, overtime is not sudden death :D
Since you play the full time, not one basket equals victory.
still based on the overall condition of the team, RISE would have lost in overtime.
sometimes it's better to give all and win then saving energy and lost in overtime
I'm still glad RISE won. Now I wonder how they'll end it next week?
Yeah, the prev eps cliffhanger made me anxious to wait for this eps π
The wait was worth it.
I'm glad they won.
Now - about Hiyori's injury - I hope she'll be fine and that it won't hurt her career, but I guess if it's critical she'll probably take something from Michelle's family hospital...
I hadn't been this excited for a sports anime match since the final in Tamayomi
Lol it feels like I'm watching Kuroko.
I felt goosebump at the last seconds. They really did it!
She got that berserker blood, there can never be too much sacrifice
enter the zone
Ic Ic Ic
It's what I want, thanks**
"I just have to make it to the end of the match" Girl you have a whole performance to do if you win, wdym πππ
Finally subs that properly translate measurements.
Seeing Hiyorin's leg physically hurt :/
Going through injury is always the worst.
But damn, there were so many technical baskets that should have been points :D
At least they properly considered the fault.
And ofc it's like that :D
And that's why we love it! :D
HI-YO-RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-N!
I really love this anime, my first idol anime π€π
I'm not an "idol sage" but you may find Bushiroad's idol franchises D4DJ & Bang Dream interesting since those seiyuus also do live concerts like their fictional idol unit counterparts & even play their own instruments. They have official channels on YT.
Ohh, thankyou for the recommendations. I'll watch it later bcs it seems interesting πππ
It should be 'watch' unless you're a bot π
*edit : lol, it turned out to be bot after editting its comment π
Time for another Saturday of idols and sports!
Final episode's next week!
I'm happy and sad at the same time, its complicated
There is no need to say more about that you are a bot and has been downvoted and reported... -__-
why are you replying to a bot if you know they aren't gonna reply? xD
Just cause
what if i was a bot?
What if human doesn't exist and we're all a bot with high intelligence
Won the game but at the cost of a bone fracture.
